Hubert Kario started a new discussion on lib/ext/record_size_limit.c:

I'm not sure how that helps... so the client advertises that it can handle, say 2^12 B long records, but we have memory to send 2^10 records at most, why then should we _not_ negotiate the extension when the client will have no problem accepting our small 2^10 B records?
