The same environment (CC=gcc, CFLAGS="-g -O2 -mcpu=powerpc", and
LIBPATH=/usr/lib:/usr/ccs/lib:/usr/local/lib) as my other posts...
./configure --prefix=/usr/local --with-fdsetsize=1024
