Thanks for the report. I agree that we should support only C99 or later (maybe it's a good topic for the [planning](https://gitlab.com/gnutls/gnutls/-/wikis/Planning-for-4.0)).

For this particular case, this is only a warning, so I guess we are fine either to add c23 to the match expression or to switch to using the [c99](https://www.gnu.org/software/gnulib/MODULES.html#module=c99) module.
