No, such a basic functionality is known to work for 12 years :-) Would you mind filing an issue describing what you are trying to achieve and expected/actual results with logs? The log-calls option in p11-kit or [PKCS#11 Spy](https://github.com/OpenSC/OpenSC/wiki/Using-OpenSC#pkcs-11-spy) might be helpful to diagnose the issues.
