Thank you! I somehow forgot to follow up on this after commenting on #1196. Looking at m4/parse-datetime.m4, it seems to require bison >= [2.4](https://git.savannah.gnu.org/cgit/gnulib.git/tree/m4/parse-datetime.m4#n44). Could you specify the version as the minimum requirement?

(Also could you clear the commit-check error in the CI, which indicates there is a mismatch on the `Signed-off-by:` line and the commit author).
