@pmgdeb @smuellerDD May I confirm if this is really a requirement, not just for a future proof? The previous [discussion](https://gitlab.com/gnutls/gnutls/-/merge_requests/1299?commit_id=db001209da553a7eeaa68fd06d2d64a22ef42bde#note_377102502) indicates that partial validation is sufficient upon key derivation (not key generation).
