I have looked into the kernel code and it seem that the only way to disable the ktls is to close the socket.
We are considering a kernel patch that will add a API to disable ktls without closing the socket.
In case of a kernel without the forementioned patch, there will be no fallback mechanism, and the session will be simply closed alongside the socket once an error occurs. Enabling GnuTLS-KTLS on kernels without this patch will be discouraged.
