Right, the example is incorrect; that should be something like:

- the initial input is: [A, C, E, D, G, I, H]
- round 1: [A, C, E, D, G, I, H], return 1
- round 2: [A, C, D, E, G, I, H], return 3
- round 3: [A, C, D, E, G, H, I], return 3
