In the mean time, I think there's a way on Ubuntu 20.04 to disable elliptic crypto curves globally, using `update-crypto-policies` (not installed by default). I just can't figure out the right invocation for that. Tried some variations of `update-crypto-policy --set DEFAULT:NO-GROUP-SECP256R1` but all variations I've tried complain about `Unknown policy`...
