[gnutls-devel] GnuTLS | Should we check each argument of public gnutls functions to prevent crashes ? (#763)

In GnuTLS public functions, sometimes arguments are checked (e.g. pointers against NULL), sometimes not.

Is there a general rule/policy for this ?

If not, does it make sense to check against invalid values to prevent crashes (and thus hard-to-reproduce reports) ?
