[gnutls-devel] GnuTLS | tests/slow/cipher-api-test.c: Make test more portable (!852)

Then I overlooked this special case and it's a regression in the MR (I'll have a look and would fix that).

Ok, in this case I change the code to not call `_check_wait_status()` and instead use it's own check (which is trivial).
