> gnutls_aead_cipher_decrypt() should mention that the tag needs to be appended to the ctext and the tag_size will define the size of it.

That's tricky. As I said not all AEAD ciphers append the authentication tag in the end of the ciphertext.
I've made some clarifications in !941 ; I'd appreciate if you could check them, and propose some update if they are not enough.
