[gnutls-devel] GnuTLS | Valid cert fails to verify due to different DN encodings (#553)

I'm sorry, I'm just not seeing how where it's saying that both certs have to have the same encoding. It specifically says:

> Conforming implementations MUST use the LDAP StringPrep profile
> (including insignificant space handling), as specified in [RFC4518]

The first step of [RFC 4518](https://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc4518), Section 2.1, is converting the string into unicode:

> PrintableString [X.680] values are transcoded directly to Unicode.

This doens't support your assertion that two DNS with different types is unspecified.
