Could the documentation also be clarified on the meaning of the version number? doc/cha-library.texi says:

> GnuTLS uses a development cycle where even minor version numbers
> indicate a stable release and a odd minor version number indicate a
> development release. For example, GnuTLS 1.6.3 denote a stable
> release since 6 is even, and GnuTLS 1.7.11 denote a development
> release since 7 is odd.

but for some reason 3.5 has been declared the "stable branch" before (I don't know the history). And now 3.6.0-3.6.4 was "stable-next" while 3.6.5 has become "stable". I am not sure what this means :/
