On good old powerpc-darwin8 (OS X 10.4), building with the system
compiler, Apple's gcc-4.0.1, I get a single test failure with:
% ./test-stdalign
test-stdalign.c:88: assertion '(uintptr_t) &(static_char_alignas) %
TEST_ALIGNMENT == 0' failed
I don't recall the details, but I know powerpc-darwin has some somewhat
unconventional alignment rules in their ABI. What assumptions about
alignment is this test making? Are those assumptions integral to the
functionality of GNUTLS? Or is perhaps the test erroneous?
