hi there!  According to m4/hooks.m4, it looks like you need nettle >=
2.7.  Debian wheezy has nettle 2.4-3.

What version of nettle do you have installed?

It looks to me like wheezy-backports has 2.7.1-1~bpo70+1 -- perhaps you
could upgrade nettle-dev to the version in wheezy backports and try
re-building?
