[sr #107775] GnuTLS 3.0.0 causes segfault

Follow-up Comment #2, sr #107775 (project gnutls):

Seems to occur on most attempts to connect.

Here's a valgrind log. I killed it because it seriously thrashed my laptop,
but it did get to a warning about the crashing g_memdup.
