Sorry, the second link should have been https://pypi.org/project/gpg/

That the gpgme link is dead, is the problem. Previously it had version 2 
of the library.

Thank you, that helps.

So the packages are no longer updated on pypi? The gpg library published 
there is seven years old and broken.
