The default directory on Windows has not been C:\GnuPG since at least 1.4.1

The default directory is %APPDATA%\GnuPG

On 2000 & XP this expands to
'C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\GnuPG'

On Vista this expands to 'C:\Users\<username>AppData\Roaming\GnuPG'

Only the *.gpg (pubring.gpg, secring,gpg, and trustdb.gpg) and gpg.conf if it
exists need be copied/moved. (Many folks neglect to advise copying trustdb.gpg.)
