SVN version not correctly displaying

I had no idea that you had to change the version number within the
configure.ac file.  I was hoping to avoid any manual changes but see
that it may be needed.

> Did you make clean or make distclean first?

Yes a make distclean -- it didn't make any difference.  During the
./configure process it tells you the version number it is compiling
for.
