I figure we can disassemble the hdd case to expose the platters, and
then use a flame torch to heat them, without having to use mom's oven
(by the way, iron's CP is at 1043 °K, that is 770 °C or 926.3 °F, a bit
too much for mom's oven). If the professor survived to that demo, maybe
can be possible to do it ourselves (but maybe the platters have some
coating that will produce toxic smoke...).
