This is an absurd argument. I'm done after this.

There's no clear mapping between NTFS and Unix permissions.

I was moving from PGP to PGP, and the configuration files are
absolutely necessary in that implementation. (More to the point,
unless you knew exactly which files were necessary, you'd feel
safest just copying them all... but all you really need to do is
export and import.)
