Well, THAT was remarkably painless.

./configure - billions of warnings (as always), but configured it first try.
Make - billions of warnings (as always), but made it first try.

Result - a working homerolled W32 build, first try. IIRC, I kept Werner busy
for hours trying to make 1.3.2 build on my machine.

As a side note, scripts/autogen.sh --build-w32 still doesn't work. It
appears to have become redundant, though.
