Pleas HELP!
I have searched the messages archive and *ReadTFM* (-; But I still have =
this problem:
I generated a public and a secret key with GnuPG under Windows a month =
ago. Now I like to use it with my Linux system. So I exported both the =
public and secret key to a disk (a.key and b.key) and then imported =
first the public key white 'gpg --import a.key', and then the secret key =
with 'pgp --allow-secret-key-import b.key'.
The respons to the first command was as usual and the respons to the =
second one was:
sec 1024D/...some numbers... 2002-04-12 ...my name... <...my mail...>
ssb 1024g/...some numbers...=20
But something is wrong! I can encrypt on both system and decrypt on the =
Windows machine but on the Linux system I get the following message:
decrypting failed:secret key not available. (I have backtranslated this =
from my native language, wich is swedish, and what my Mandrake 8.2 =
installation speeks (-;)
I would be very grateful if some one knows something about this problem =
or could direkt me to a letter or a webpage with the answer.
With regards B Mathias Johansson
