selecting uid in a key

Couple of things. When you sign, you sign with a key, not with a user ID, so
it doesn't matter what ID appears as default. The signing is done only at
the key's account, the IDs don't interfere.

However, if for any reason you want one of your IDs to be the default one,
you can do the followoing:
1) you need gnupg 1.0.7
2) edit your key with the command --edit-key
3) select the user ID you want as default.
Example: uid 1
Then you should see a star (*) after the number of the ID.
4) type the command primary and follow instructions.
5) quit and save.
