Don't know. But when I use --check-sigs (with GnuPG 1.2.1) then I get=20
this:
> gpg --check-sigs 0xB3B2A12C
350 signatures not checked due to missing keys
pub 1024D/B3B2A12C 1999-05-11 ct magazine CERTIFICATE <>
sig! B3B2A12C 1999-05-11 ct magazine CERTIFICATE <>
sig! L 30E0B9D8 2001-06-30 Ingo Kl=F6cker <>
sig! BB1D9F6D 1999-05-12 ct magazine CERTIFICATE <>
sig! P 92082481 2002-09-10 Adrian von Bidder <>

It seems "[User id not found]" isn't shown anymore when the --check-sigs=20
option is used.

But now I see that you also seem to use GnuPG 1.2.1. Strange.

Ingo
