Hmm, strange.

I just encrypted a text to myself. One time with --textmode and another 
time without --textmode. There was no difference in the decrypted 
output. But this may of course be due to the fact that I didn't decrypt 
it under another OS.
The text encrypted with the --textmode option is slightly bigger than 
the version encrypted without --textmode. So it seems as if some 
additional CR's have been added to the --textmode version. 
Unfortunately I can't confirm this because I don't have GnuPG or PGP 
for Windows.
