Works on one server but not the other??????

See my problem on this server using GnuPG 1.0.4 ..............

You need a Passphrase to protect your secret key.
########### It just stops here and hangs after entering passphrase. I tried
importing a key and also coping the keyring but when I sign a key it also
hangs after the passphrase. Last but not least it hangs if I try to encrypt
using a key from an imported keyring to this directory ###########
It works on the following server perfectly!!!!!!!!!
