If a revocation is present, I think most if not all OpenPGP
implementations will ignore the entity (key or certificate) which has
been revoked.

This area is a bit dubious because apart from a few glitches, the
OpenPGP RFC only describes the message format, and not the effect of
OpenPGP messages on the behavior of OpenPGP implementations.
