Hi list,
i just generated a new key pair with gpg 1.0.4 and all settings on default.
just played around with signing and encrypting as i got the following
message encrypting a message to myself:
gpg: using secondary key CA634208 instead of primary key 6E6C3431
gpg: No trust check due to --always-trust option
gpg: writing to `-'
gpg: ELG-E/RIJNDAEL encrypted for: CA634208 Martin <trappedvector@crossw=
inds.net>
gpg: DSA signature from: 6E6C3431 Martin <trappedvector@crosswinds.net>
gpg: this cipher algorithm is depreciated; please use a more standard on=
e!
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^=
^^
i know that ELG-E/RIJNDAEL is included in 1.0.4. (BTW thats why i generated
a new encryption key) But why does gpg complain about RIJNDAEL not beeing
a standard algorithm?
confused mh
