Subject: two problems with gpg-1.0
X-Diagnostic: Unprocessed
My first problem is that I cannot find the md5sum for gnupg-1.0.0.tar.gz
anywhere. I need it in order to verify my download.
My second problem (related to the first?) is that I decided to install the
binary anyway, and when I try to use gpg to verify gnu-1.0.0.tar.gz.asc, I get
the no secure memory message, and then gpg hangs.
Here's where things get hairy: The FIRT time I installed the gpg binaries, I was
able to execute 'gpg --verify gnupg-1.0.0.tar.gz.asc' without hanging, but gpg
couldn't successfully verify the file. Then, I removed /usrlocal/bin/gpg,
/usr/local/share/gnupg, and /usr/local/lib/gnupg manually, and the reinstalled.
At this time, 'gnu --verify ...' hangs.
I hope someone can help. Running on Linux (RH6.0), IBM ThinkPad.
