I'm confused by the characterization of the work as "closed". As an
interested outside observer I could easily follow the group's process
via the mailing list
(https://mailarchive.ietf.org/arch/browse/openpgp/), and I notice that
you have also posted to that list on a number of occasions.
Obviously a consensus-based process will reject some inputs. That fact
by itself does not seem unusual to me.
If you have pointers to important input that you feel was unreasonably
rejected on the mailing list, I'd be interested to see those.
