Verify problem with gpgme

Hi.
I am trying to write a small application whose task is to execute a
script only if it is signed by a specific key.
How would you go about doing it?

I thought I could use gpgme to verify it and check if the signature's
key has the right name, comment and mail address, but I have not found
a way to read the key data.
Also, I suppose there must be a better way.

Any suggestions?
