Build failure with curl-7.18.1 and GCC 4.3

This seems to be an issue between GPG and the new curl.  I don't see  
GCC involvement here.    There is some macro magic using 'typeof' that  
didn't exist in earlier versions of curl.  I've notified the curl  
folks.  It's not clear yet where the best fix is, but there will be  
one soon.
