LDAPS support doesn't work on Windows with wldap32. OpenLDAP is the standard in
OSS LDAP implementations and is supported by GnuPG on all other operating
systems. So why not use OpenLDAP when looking for a LDAP implementation that works.
With wldap32:
C:\WINDOWS>gpg --refresh-keys 0x600fa001
gpg: requesting key 600FA001 from ldaps server keys.pgp.com
gpgkeys: unable to make SSL connection: not built with LDAPS support
LDAPS works on other platforms. Why not Win32?
If the TLS/SSL code in gpgkeys_ldap linked with wldap32 would made a LDAPS
connection, there wouldn't be a need for OpenLDAP.

You can't spell fiasco without SCO. PGP/GPG KeyID: 0x608D2A10/0x18BB373A
"what's the key to success?" / "two words: good decisions."
"what's the key to good decisions?" / "one word: experience."
"how do i get experience?" / "two words: bad decisions."
"Just how do the residents of Haiku, Hawai'i hold conversations?"
