You better use the PLAINTEXT status; PLAINTEXT_LENGTH is not emitted
in all cases.

--log-file will only be used in --batch mode.  That is to make it more
similar to gpgsm which uses it only in --server mode.  Eventually
--server-mode will be implemented for gpg2.
