I saw that you have a link to the USPTO's search engine and I wanted to let you know about www.FreePatentsOnline.com.

FreePatentsOnline.com has free PDF downloading, European data in addition to U.S. data, and free accounts to allow you to organize patent searches.  Overall, it is much more powerful than the USPTO's search, and more features are planned for the near future.
