Keys listed twice when --keyring used - request to filter

No.  Sometimes it makes sense to know from where the key has been
imported.  I am not yet sure about this, it is just one option.

No.

In fact the plan is also to provide a generic backend for key
retrieval, so that people can implement their own storage backend.
