Strange problem with GnuPG 1.0.4 encrypted data

I am using GnuPG 1.0.4 on NT to encrypt the file and same version run on
Solaris 2.6 to do the decryption. 
This problem didn't appear during the testing of hundreds of files and I
have the same problem with error as : 
gpg: encrypted with 2048-bit ELG-E key, ID 515D6806, created 2001-10-24
"MY GPG KEY"
gpg: Signature made Mon 26 Nov 2001 01:36:35 PM EST using DSA key ID

gpg: Good signature from "ABC"

I do get a decrypted file, I guess the data is ok as well as the signature
check, but for some reason 
this "invalid packet (ctb=14)" just happen with return code = 2 from
gpg..It's seem to be a problem during 
encryption. 
Does anyone know what's the cause of this problem ? How to bypass this from
gpg when decrypt the file (since 
I can't do anything from the sender's side at the moment) ?
