Sorry.  I wanted to change the subject but instead of hitting 's' I 
hit 'S' which is a Mutt macro to do clearsign.  The problem with that   
macro is that when the signing fails the message gets lost, so I       
signed and later removed the signature but not the Content Lines :-(
