Extremely Slow Ed25519 Key Generation (Entropy Source?)

Hello,

As a test, generating 1000 Ed25519 keys took 53 minutes on an AMLogic
S905. Generating 1000 keys with libcrypto is almost instantaneous.

Is this due to something I have missed, such as entropy source
selection? I tried reading the documentation but found nothing
relevant.
